Location and Surroundings

Tamarina Villa Hotel is located between Flic en Flac and Tamarin on the west side of the island, 25 km from Port Louis and 48 km from Plaisance airport. The area is famous for many water sports activities such as deep sea fishing, dolphin watching and surfing as well as lovely sunsets, historic attractions and nature sites such as Casela Nature Park, Yemen, Black River Gorges National Park and Martello Tower.

Weather Conditions

The weather in the western part of Mauritius is warm, and dry due to a protective mountain range. Sunshine prevails on literally 350 days a year.

• The nearest town with good shopping is Quatre Bornes, located about 15 km inlands
• The nearest supermarkets and shopping malls are located in Tamarin (London Way complex or Franprix). The next bank is in the Ruisseau Creole complex at Black River, which also features numerous very chic shops with fashion and souvenirs as well as several restaurants and bars.
